Emergency Treatment Measures For Excavators After Disasters

Due to construction, accidents, weather and other factors, excavators will inevitably encounter some emergencies. This year's flood season, many places have suffered floods. As an important tool, excavators have played a huge role in rescue and relief. But sometimes it is easy to fall into the water in the construction process. In order to minimize the loss of falling into the water, here are some tips for the treatment of the excavator being flooded. I hope it will be helpful for you who love the machine.

1. Engine system

Engine water intake is from the air filter into the cylinder; The second is from the engine exhaust pipe into the crankcase. Therefore, open the oil discharge and preheating plug. If there is water and sediment in it, the whole engine needs to be removed for disassembly and cleaning to ensure that the various parts are cleaned before being reinstalled. Then check the diesel tank, if it is found that there is water and sediment, you need to first put out the impurities, and then do a thorough cleaning, and replace the diesel filter.

2, Hydraulic system

Because the hydraulic tank is sealed when the excavator works normally, there is usually no impurity inside the tank, but there is a ventilation device on the tank cover. If the water level reaches the breathing mouth of the tank, there may be water immersion. At this time, the mouth should be raised above the water surface. If there is water and sediment infiltration, it is necessary to drain the hydraulic oil, clean the tank thoroughly, and replace the new hydraulic oil and hydraulic oil filter element. It is also necessary to check the control valve and other hydraulic components, if no water is found, to ensure that the pump valve is working properly.

3. Electrical system

Electrical system is the most afraid of water, but also very fragile, once the excavator into the water, should immediately pull out the fuse; Remove the battery line; Remove the computer board. In the maintenance of electrical systems must be careful, first of all, we have to clean the appearance of the blister electrical components, clean up after we have to disassemble and clean the internal parts, clean clean after drying. In addition, electrical plugs and coils are easy to oxidize and damage after being blisters, and need to be carefully checked to dispose of the oxidized part. If it is too serious, it needs to be replaced with new parts.

Finally, I hope you must be careful in the process of driving the excavator, pay attention to safety, and try to avoid the machine being soaked in water. If the machine is flooded, please contact professional technicians in time for maintenance.
